As I wrote last year, Christmas can be a very lonely time. If you know someone who will be spending considerable time alone this Christmas or who is likely to feel lonely, sometimes the smallest of gestures can help: a phone call, text or Christmas card to a friend who you haven’t had contact with for a while. A visit to a lonely neighbor to wish them a merry Christmas or perhaps inviting a lonely friend for Christmas dinner or for a drink can work wonders. Please be conscious that sometimes a little thought and effort can change someone's holiday season considerably over what, for some, can be a depressing period. www.ruthhaskinsmd.com #helpingothers #obgyn #ladydocfolsom #ruthhaskinsmd
