A Heartfelt Farewell to Our Beloved Nurse Practitioner, Jennifer Toth With mixed emotions, we announce the retirement of a cherished member of our team, Nurse Practitioner Jennifer Toth. After eleven remarkable years of dedicated service to the practice, Jennifer is stepping into a new chapter of her life. While we are thrilled for her, but we can’t help feel a sense of loss as we bid farewell to a true friend, mentor, and healthcare professional who has touched the lives of so many. Throughout her tenure, Jennifer demonstrated an unwavering commitment to our patients and their well-being. She wasn’t just a Nurse Practitioner, she was a confidante, a source of comfort during difficult times, and an advocate for those in need. Whether providing medical advice, lending an empathetic ear, or offering support during difficult times, Jennifer always put the needs of others first. Her approach to care was more than just clinical; it was personal, compassionate, and truly patient-centered. Her sense of humor could lighten the toughest of days, in the office, Jennifer’s presence was a constant reminder of what it means to be caring, understanding, and dedicated, both to the job and to the people we serve. As a mentor to many, Jennifer also fostered a culture of collaboration and learning. Her willingness to teach, support, and uplift others helped shape care with compassion, that we strive to maintain at the Practice of Ruth Haskins MD Inc. In Celebration of Jennifer’s retirement, we will be having drinks at Fats Asian Bistro on Iron Point Road, in Folsom on Thursday March 13th from 6 to 9pm. Please come and join us in celebrating her huge contribution and wishing her much success and happiness in retirement. www.ruthhaskinsmd.com #JenniferToth #obgyn #ladydocfolsom #ruthhskinsmd

Enjoying a rare night out, my Medical Society yearly gala (SSVMS) entertained by Sacramento Ballet! ruthhaskinsmd.com #obgyn #ruthhaskismd #ladydocfolsom There is so much misinformation about USAID (U.S. Agency for International Development) being spread, that I thought it would be a good idea to list some of the crucially excellent keynote works it oversees, facilitates and funds when it comes to health initiatives: •Health systems strengthening USAID helps strengthen health systems by improving policies, leadership development, and financial and management support systems •Maternal and newborn health USAID improves access to, utilization of, and quality of essential maternal, newborn, and child health services •Nutrition USAID supports community-based interventions that focus on food security, livelihoods, and identification, treatment, referral, and support •Infectious diseases USAID strengthens health systems around the world by building better capacity to detect outbreaks, mitigate transmission, and prevent epidemics •Tuberculosis USAID has a global TB control program that has expanded since its launch in 1998 •Meeting PEPFAR priorities USAID's Global Health Supply Chain Program-Procurement and Supply Management (GHSC-PSM) project helps get life-saving HIV/AIDS commodities to millions of people •Health commodities systems strengthening USAID supports the procurement and systems management of key life-saving commodities •Empowering digital health USAID designs digital systems that prioritize person-centered care The idea of closing this down is simply stunningly short sighted. I fear that we are in danger of throwing the baby out with the bathwater. www.ruthhaskinsmd.com #USAID #obgyn #ladydocfolsom #ruthhaskismd Welcome, the month of February brings love to the air and my usual reminder plug that if you haven’t seen me recently, perhaps it’s time to book an appointment 😀.
